Introduction

2020 is very special as it is our 5th anniversary which coincides with the 5th Invictus Games.  We are therefore marking this milestone by cycling to the Invictus Games opening ceremony at The Hague, NL whilst raising money for both the Mayor’s Charities and Team Army.

The Hague 2020 will take place over five days from 7th – 11th May 2020.

Joining us will be a number of former Invictus Games athletes and members of the Women’s Race Across America Team.

We anticipate that The Hague 2020 event will be very popular and preference will be given to cyclists and sponsors who have taken part in past events.

We are proud to be supporting Team Army as one of our many beneficiaries this year.  They will receive 50% of the funds we raise on our ride.  Team Army raises funds for sport, challenge and adventure in the Armed Forces. The brand represents the collective appeal of military sport and adventure. They aim to increase opportunity, promote excellence and aid recovery.  Since their launch in 2011, they have raised £8m to help the best get better.  Team Army is an Official Grant Supporter of Invictus UK and will be donating the funds we raise to Team UK.

The Invictus Games The Hague 2020, presented by Jaguar Land Rover, will host the fifth Invictus Games from 9-16 May 2020, bringing together over 500 competitors and 1,000 friends and family from 19 nations to compete in a series of adaptive sports across the city in the Netherlands over the course of a week. The Invictus Games is a powerful demonstration of the dedication our men and women displayed when they served our country. It is a celebration of how they confronted hardship, but refused to be defined by their injury or illness. Team UK will be joining the 18 other nations to achieve personal bests, meet new friends and celebrate a week of achievements with the people who love them the most.

Invictus UK is delivered by a partnership comprising Help for Heroes, The Ministry of Defence, and The Royal British Legion.
